Interested in visiting First Presbyterian Church of St. Louis? We look forward to meeting you! Here’s everything you need to know…
9:15am – 10:15am – Education Programs and Sunday School (Fellowship Hall and Blue Room)
10:00am – 12:00pm – Professional nursery care (Nursery)
10:30am – Sunday worship begins (Sanctuary)
11:45am – Fellowship time (Narthex)
Our Sunday worship begins at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary. When you arrive for Sunday worship, you’ll be greeted by one of our smiling ushers and invited to sign the guestbook. Feel free to sit anywhere; note that there are two pews on the right side of the Sanctuary equipped with listening-devices for those who have difficulty hearing.
We are a casual congregation; you’ll see people dressed in jeans and T-shirts as well as suits. Come as you are.
Our worship is a mix of traditional and contemporary elements; we follow the Presbyterian order of worship that leads us to enjoy God and one another. A service typically includes a sermon, several hymns, sharing of the peace, a children’s sermon, time for prayer, and meditation and is filled with uplifting music. The bulletin clearly lays out the service and will show you when congregants are asked to stand, sit, or respond. (We do not ask visitors to stand and identify themselves during worship.)
We share communion the first Sunday of each month, and all are welcome to participate. Those wishing to take Communion are invited forward to break a piece of bread and dip it into the cup.
Children in worship
Children of all ages are welcome to remain in worship through the entire service; however, professional nursery care is available if desired for children in first grade and younger. One of the greeters will gladly help you find your way to the nursery and introduce you and your child to our caregivers.
Worship journals and clipboards with crayons are available from the greeters at the back of the sanctuary.
A time of fellowship follows each service in the Narthex (church lobby). Refreshments include coffee and cookies or other goodies provided by church members.

See a map here.
From the disabled parking spots on the back lot, you may access the ramp into the lower level of the building. An elevator will take you to the main level, where the Sanctuary is located.
